「variable already defined」とは
同じ範囲(スコープ)の中で、同じ名前の変数を2回宣言したときのコンパイルエラーです。

実際のログでは先頭に「ファイル名(行,列) :」が付きます。ログの行をダブルクリックすると、エラーの場所にカーソルが移動します。表示は 2026年9月の MetaEditor で確認したもので、ビルドによって細部が変わることがあります。
「variable already defined」の主な原因
- 同じ関数の中で int a を2回書いた
- グローバル変数を2回宣言した
- input 変数とグローバル変数に同じ名前を付けた
「variable already defined」の対処法
- 2回目の宣言の型(int など)を消して、代入だけにする
- 別の変数にしたいなら名前を変える
