MQLコンパイル警告39「expression not boolean」の意味と直し方

「expression not boolean」とは

if や while の条件に、true / false ではない式を書いたときの警告です。演算子の優先順位の勘違い（& と == など）や、= と == の書き間違いが原因のことがあります。MT4 では「check operator precedence」の警告（番号80）も一緒に出ることがあります。

MetaEditor での表示例

実際のログでは先頭に「ファイル名(行,列) :」が付きます。ログの行をダブルクリックすると、エラーの場所にカーソルが移動します。表示は 2026年9月の MetaEditor で確認したもので、ビルドによって細部が変わることがあります。

「expression not boolean」の主な原因

1. if(a & b == c) のように、ビット演算と比較の優先順位を勘違いした
2. if(a = 1) のように比較のつもりで代入した
3. 数値そのものを条件にした

「expression not boolean」の対処法

1. かっこを付けて (a & b) == c のように意図をはっきりさせる
2. 比較は == を使う
3. 数値を条件にするなら a != 0 のように明示する
