unexpected end of program

「unexpected end of program」とは
閉じかっこ「}」が足りないまま、ファイルの最後に達したときのコンパイルエラーです。「unbalanced parentheses」と一緒に出ることがほとんどです。

実際のログでは先頭に「ファイル名(行,列) :」が付きます。ログの行をダブルクリックすると、エラーの場所にカーソルが移動します。表示は 2026年9月の MetaEditor で確認したもので、ビルドによって細部が変わることがあります。
「unexpected end of program」の主な原因
- if や for、関数の { に対応する } が足りない
- 文字列の閉じ引用符「"」がなく、以降がすべて文字列とみなされた
- コメント /* の閉じ */ がない
「unexpected end of program」の対処法
- MetaEditor で { の直後にカーソルを置くと対応する } が強調表示されるので、対応を1つずつ確認する
- インデントを整えて、どこで } が抜けているか見つける
- 文字列とコメントが正しく閉じているか確認する
